Welcome to Mrs. I's Yarn Parlor

HI!  Mrs. I's Yarn Parlor has been around for almost 2 years now.  It's been quite an adventure.  As a yarn junkie and avid knitter, I knew I'd love hanging out with fiber all day!  But the best part of being the area LYS is all the people I come in contact with.   YOU - the knitters/crocheters/weavers/yarn junkies who come in to Mrs. I's are the best!  I've made so many friends - and have watched so many friendships start and grow!  Whether you're a regular at one of our open knit groups, or an occassional stop in, or a one time, just passing through shopper - you've left your mark at Mrs. I's.  It's through your questions, suggestions, and wish lists that I choose yarns, schedule classes and set my hours.  I love seeing your finished projects and hearing your stories of the recipients of your hard work.  I hope I can continue to serve you for many years to come!

GRADUATION TIME IS HERE!  It might not feel like Spring - but it is - and graduation is just around the corner.  How about knitting your graduate a blanket/shawl, scarf, hat, laptop case or purse to take with them when they head out on their own?  April & May will be graduation/confirmation gift making time!  Ideas, samples, and patterns will be available for you at Mrs. I's.

I'm starting to publish patterns on my website!  Follow the "Latest News" Link to find patterns for some of my favorite projects.  This month - Shopping Bags!  Have fun!

What a great year this is!  Already, we're seeing so many new things!  Mrs. I's is proud to be a HOT SOX SPOT for Universal Yarns.  That means you can participate in the HOT SOX CONTEST with yarns purchased right here at Mrs. I's.  Contest details are also on hand.  Winners will get cash prizes and have their patterns published in Knitter's Magazine new book.  What fun!
